1. General Information

Spatar String Art sells DIY string art kits intended for customer self-assembly.
All kits are standard, non-personalized products and are not manufactured to customer specifications.

This Return and Refund Policy is drafted in accordance with applicable European Union and German consumer protection laws.

2. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Right)

If you are a consumer within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days, without providing any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.

You may use the EU model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory. The form is available upon request.

3. Conditions for Returns

Returned items must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The withdrawal request is made within the 14-day withdrawal period
  • The DIY kit is unused, unassembled, complete, and undamaged
  • All components, instructions, and original packaging are included
  • The kit shows no signs of assembly, partial assembly, or use

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not comply with these conditions.

4. Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to a defect or damage, the cost of return shipping is borne by the customer, in accordance with EU consumer law.

After receiving your withdrawal notice, we will provide return instructions and the return address.

If the product is defective or damaged upon delivery, please contact us before returning the goods, so that we can provide appropriate instructions.

5. Refunds

After receiving and inspecting the returned goods:

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days from the date we receive the returned items or proof of return
  • Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction
  • No restocking fees are charged

Any standard outbound shipping costs will be refunded.
Additional costs resulting from a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered will not be refunded.

Please note that processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

6. Exclusions and Limitations

The right of withdrawal does not apply if:

  • The DIY kit has been used, assembled, or partially assembled
  • Components are missing, damaged, or altered by the customer
  • The product is returned in a condition that makes resale impossible

These limitations are permitted under EU consumer law.

7. Damaged or Defective Goods

If your DIY kit arrives damaged or defective, please notify us without undue delay after delivery and provide clear photographic evidence of the issue.

We will assess the case and, where appropriate, offer a replacement or refund.
